If you are looking for an independent specialist that knows and cares about BMWs, then have a look at Woods Motors, just off the A17 near Cranwell. It's family run (>3 generations I think) and has a small team of experienced technicians all of whom are enthusiasts. If you're looking for comfy seats and coffee this might not be for you but I've used them on and off since 2000 and have never occasion to complain - friendly, professional and reasonably priced.
