Soon will be time to give a full report on 3-years of ownership, just a brief update for the past few months.

I've taken the 535i through its second MOT, (no issues this time) and tied it in with a full service, (oil, all filters, sparking plugs and brake fluid change) under the service package. Hard to believe it is now over 4-years old and that I've had it for nearly 3-years.

Still rewards the same as when I picked it up, definitely the right decision to go back to a Five, and a petrol at that.

Plan to update the ownership experience with a full report, once I pass the 3-years in September.

Remind me what you had previously, Peter.

Good to read you're still happy with the F11.

Don't forget the pics with your report... ;):)

Ditto! Only seems like yesterday @Peter was agonising over whether he bought it after finding out about the engine work.

Absolutely lovely machine and look forward to a full running report soon. :)

Yes Harry, almost three years, you are not the only one thinking the time has flown by.

I have really enjoyed the 535i for many reasons, as I'll post in a full report, then what's not to like with all the options and toys.

Engine is running well, getting more economical now it's past 20k miles.

Car went and disgraced itself yesterday and this morning.... Will post a topic once I've got a better idea why the central locking/remote is glitching.
