    Hi,

i’ve got a BMW Z4 2.5i that has been off the road for 2 years. It went in to ‘limp’ mode which i think was due to it not being driven much after the pandemic. I got these codes: p16a3 https://www.autocodes.com/p16a3_bmw.html and p1632 https://www.autocodes.com/p1632_bmw.html Also, battery dead, old fuel, questionable discs etc. I’ve had it for 10 years and want to get it back on the road. I need reccomendations for a mobile mechanonic who is interested in taking this on. I’m based in Bromley South East London. Calling on the BMW community to recommend somebody. MUST be reputable, reliable and reasonably priced.

Please make suggestions with contact details or email me: timbirdgraphics @ yahoo.co.uk

Thank you in advance for any help.

I recently saw that the RAC have a mobile mechanic service for repairs and servicing, you don't need to be a member. Don't know how long it's been operating.

Might the battery be the cause of the problems ?

Is it worth charging the battery / draining what fuel you can putting some fresh fuel in and see if it runs - might be able to get it to a garage

You can drive without any MOT as long as you are on your way to or from a pre arranged test.

Thanks I'll look into that, although I would prefer an independent mechanic. Thanks anyway.

Thanks, yes that's something I should perhaps consider. there's a garage not too far so if I get it going I could creep round there.
