I’ve seen these photos doing the rounds as well. Not at alls sure about the front either, looks like it has been produced by a bad kit car company! Not sure the colour helps the lines and overall feel.
    Doesn’t look great at all.

I'm hoping the pictures really are of a kit car imitation, or "oh dear, what are they drinking in Germany?"

The rear of the M240i is also the most "challenging" part of the design. Tend to look better to darker colours imho

i kind of get that! Albeit a M240, looks menacing!
Tactile number plate placement detracts focus once seen as squint, it can’t be unseen and all focus is pulled

Full release of details etc tomorrow night I believe. No doubt it will be a bonkers thing to drive, will be interesting to see what it looks like in full release guise.
A black M240i sailed past me today, north bound on the M40, had a good presence on road.

Better in red with some decent lighting.
0-62 in 4.2? Yer sure……! The M440i has been clocked at a sub 4 second 0-60 time, so the M2 will be below that given the power/weight.
Also, what is that strange stick like thing in the console?

That's a lumpy looking thing. I bet the side profile is a lot better.

I got a bog 2 Series Coupe as a loaner last year and I have to say I was hugely impressed with the chassis dynamics and driving environment. It felt properly old school and up-to-date at the same time.

The M2 seems somewhat over priced, but I don't suppose BMW have to try hard to sell them.

The styling is just so clumsy, no elegance at all, just crude straight lines and can't be bothered lines....nasty, the whole range is rapidly becoming hideous, let's hope they don't mess up the 3 and 5 !!!

What's the betting that they certainly will.

On the plus side, it should enhance the value of older models.

Yeah gotta agree, the styling on some of the recent models is utterly cringeworthy
