Sounds like you’ve had some fun exploring the LCI updates!
Interesting the previous one has been exported, unusual for a RH car to go abroad. Legitimate or dodgy?

It could have gone anywhere of course but a few years ago a friend took his M5 when emigrating to Australia. He kept it for a while and then even after paying the import duty he still made a pretty profit when he sold it on.

Coming up to 4500 miles on it now and it is just sublime.

Not done a launch control as I feel it is a bit mechanically unsympathetic but on Sunday I had to give it a massive bootfull off the lights as a car decided that two in to one was a distinct possibility so I had to get ahead - quickly!!!!

Good grief, this S58 engine coupled with M xdrive is just totally savage. It launches soooo hard, pretty much super car savage. I have driven some quick stuff but this is bonkers fast.

Just adore it and so pleased i moved on to this from my dravit one.

Savage is an excellent way to describe the S58. The one thing I do miss from the M2.
I didn’t get round to using the launch control on either the G22 or the M2, they seemed plenty quick enough without.
Good to hear you are happy with this one, long may the red machine keep you entertained.

I need to take mine to some nice highland roads in the future having seen your post.

This car rides so much better than my first gen G80. They seem to have tickled a few settings in the LCI and it has made for an overall decently improved package. I am not saying it is perfect but it isn’t far off.

and I have just had my insurance renewal and I paid £615 for the year so am very happy considering prices a year or so ago.

I still think I like the old ID7 dash layout but ID8.5 is okay and I have to admit to getting used to the iPad superglued to the dash!!!

Thank you, I am so happy I went for the red but, and it is a small but, it gets sooooo much attention on a pretty much daily basis that it can almost be annoying. The dravit one was quite incognito but not this thing.

I love chewing the fat with a fellow enthusiast but I don’t enjoy the “give it some mate” and “my mates got one just like that” brigade lol.

But, one thing that did make me laugh was a bloke who was walking down the road gave me a thumbs up as I approached which was lovely and as I went past I looked in the mirror and as he turned back from looking walked in to a lamp post :ROFLMAO:
I did feel a bit sorry for him but at the same time it gave me a proper giggle.
