    I've ordered the button and just found this on YouTube

    Yes looks pretty straight forward.
    Just remember to allocate a minimum of 3 hours and all should be well !
    (or is it just me that can turn a simple job into a saga?)

    No, Im the same as I would want to strip everything down and clean/lubricate at the same time

    Thats a great find - I wonder what the labour charge would be in a dealer !

    Its so annoying - BMW should offer a free of charge while you wait service to replace any of their faulty switches like that !

    Great, but I'd have put tape over the shaft of the screwdriver in case it scratched the silver trim. :cautious:

    I certainly would have done that if given that advice. Thankfully I managed it without any accidents. :)
