    Thanks,

If it’s ok with BMW it’s fine with me too.

It does have m performance parts as well so technically it’s allowed

Thanks guys. I only detail the car maybe once per year when I take the notion although now the garage is complete that could be more often. I put a post on detailingworld to track the build progress of the garage.

    Oh the badge is staying

@quinnj3 I can't seem to open the pics without d/loading and installing Tapatalk, which I don't really want to do?

Do you have a direct link to the DW page?

Nice car and great detailing work.

I'm also envious of your work space / garage.

As said only the inappropriate M badge on the rear spoils it.

But it's your car - you can stick a Ferrari badge on if it makes you happy.

It wouldn't make it a Ferrari though.

Nice result (y) . Am another who is a big fan of Collinite 915 Marque De Elegance , it s been my go to Wax for years now . It might seem like an old fashioned wax to some but it really does work . Like everyone else , I like your garage .:)

Thanks. Re. The wax, I can’t seem to use this up! It uses so little to do a car and the duration is close on 6 months. I had real problems with it pre-garage days as wind and sun just set it off immediately. The garage was finished in March and since then I’ve found the wax much easier to use with longer flash off times although it does still take an age to cover the car. I find I really have to work the wax into the paint although the results speak for themselves imo.

    Great result
As above, Collinite is a great product with excellent longevity both on the car and in the tin
I’ve had mine for years, the tin lid is rusted yet the product inside is as received, I’ve a Collinite day coming......

Less is more, as they say. :) If applying outdoors [not a problem for you now] apply to one panel, move on to the next with application, then return to the first to buff....and so on.
