Stretched Police resources, or no resources in some areas, and an easy turn around through the internet seems to have upped car crime levels back to the early 90s. I’ve got a retractable post at the bottom of the drive and we both have crook locks on the cars, seems mad to me!
To quote Pulp Fiction: "Don't f**k with another mans automobile" "They should be f**king killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution" Hope you get sorted soon
Blimey 6k??? yikes... i was expecting £2k on wheels and £800-1k on tyres... making 3k total wow - guess i'm way out on prices... Kev
I’m shocked. Thought this had died out ages ago. So frustrating. Hope all gets sorted out soon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Don’t know what to say..... What’s the ansa to this without a garage.... steel wheels maybe..? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Adie, no it isn’t, but my other other half did manage to negotiate the mechanics coming out to fit the wheels in our drive and for a check in the workshop to see if there was any damage underneath. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have ordered two sets of McGard locking wheel nuts to add to the BMW nuts. Additionally, I have ordered Rimgard units which cover the nuts up. I have also ordered a cctv camera and security lights. On top of the £650 excess, I have spent around another £800. I will also park both cars almost touching each other, so they won’t get a full set again..., Failing that, I will sell my pride and joy and buy something that’s not so attractive. But if I caught them, I might be tempted to put my military training into use... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
6K Jesus. I got CCTV, but the issue is these days they are wearing balaclavas rendering cctv useless. See it a lot on Facebook local area group pages. When your putting your cctv up, don't put up near teh eves, put them just higher than reachable height so there's a better view of a face rather than top of their heads. Only other thing I have thought about is a pebble drive which would hopefully disturbed the dog with the crunching, or a bigger garage (I cant in this house).
Not for now, I've killed it. Thank god had GAP insurance to full purchase price. Will post pics of what happened eventually as well as new car pics. (not my fault though)
Aye, virtually identical, but in Crayon. Has some bits mine didn't, and mine had some the new one doesn't - inc full surround view. Its firstly due to BIK, I've said before, In a £100k hybrid I pay similar BIK to one of my guys in an X4 2.0d, both 40% band so a hybrid is a no brainer for me, and there isn't a hybrid in the same league IMHO. If the M8 was available as hybrid and its same ICE then it would be a more difficult decision.
