I know the road where that happened. It's been nasty around here most major roads were very congested around rush hour with many closures and diversions. I had to take my son for a hospital appointment today - Google maps was a godsend in helping plot a decent route!
Poor chap in his E65 - they can have electrical issues at the best of times without having the added water!
There will be many a water damaged car on the salvage sites shortly. Saw a late F30 on the news this morning, water up to the top of the wheels. Will never be right again.

I hurt my hand a couple of years ago, long story short I self diagnosed it as a sagittal band injury. Just had an operation to fix it, surgeon says I'm still allowed to drive as my car's an auto! Don't think I'll be doing much driving though - also got two weeks off work, woohoo!
