This is something I missed as the car was a base SE albeit with quite a few extra options. Also the colour seems to suit tinted windows really well. It’s as close to factory as possible - Dapaa Tints in Leeds did the work today - they’re often used by Stratstone Leeds for tinting jobs. Looks good. It is surprising how many tinting companies there are around that provide tints that are as good or even better than OEM. I had my f31 320d tinted by a local company in 2012.
They never quoted 30 miles for the F30. More like 25 but well known you’d only get 18-19. Perfect for my commute anyway, and weekend driving is all electric. E drive is pretty instant pick up though, that is quite nice to have.. Back to the tint, I have to let it cure for a few days now, one thing that gives it away from OEM is the reaction with the mottled black effect around the edges - it doesn’t quite stick to that as well as the glass... Not a lot of people realise that aftermarket tints are not just plain tints that can mimic the OEM privacy ones. There are tints with various properties.
