Walked past a new Z4 yesterday in an semi-matt grey. What between the colour, the grills and huge wheels, it looked awful. And to top it off sported a 2.0i badge. To paraphrase, all made up and unable to go.
Is that in the UK? Maybe differing markets get slightly different front-end treatments? [it's to be hoped...]

The only Really Good thing about those Grilles is that you can t see them when driving the car. That s it .
I know it's not a BMW but this one had me thinking the other week....it looked like it was going for a quilted look....not to my liking
. That looks like it's solid, I wonder if he only fitted after parking up? He certainly couldn't drive it if I' m right, so I've possibly not looked closely enough. These things look more Ford (ish) now that Ford owns the brand.
Looks like it’s right in ‘getting dented territory....’ Is that quilting an option... ? What’s going on there..? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yes I read that at the time I saw it...£6 Million but you did get another car included with it. The one I saw was just parked in a municipal car park but it had sensors taped to it and medical info taped to the dash so I'm guessing here, but I think it was some sort of test car?? The ones for £6 mil seem to be red too whereas this one was obv blue. Different link - https://www.topgear.com/car-news/supercars/sublime-aston-martin-dbs-gt-zagato
This is how BMW themselves view their grilles. I’m probably still the only one here who doesn’t disagree with them?...
Nasty For the first time in over two decades I have my eye on other marques now. Well done BMW. Edit: Just spec'd up an M440i xdrive - £63000
Yeah same here... bought my first BMW, E21 320i in 1980, 40 years of ownership. Abysmal styling nowadays
I was slowly 'warming' to the grills, until you have to attach a number plate!! It completely makes a balls of it, as it draws more attention to them, however, don't know of an alternative? Don't think the 'Alfa' position would work? Any ideas????!!!!!!
