Nice touch. I managed to video the reveal. He said I hadn’t stopped grinning from the moment I saw it. New one in the foreground, the old E92 in the background.
Managed 43.8mpg between Farnborough and Warwick services, then dropped it into Sport mode for the final 40 miles home.
Far too wet outside for that unfortunately. Nice bag of AG cleaning products in the boot ready for the next clean. I’ve updated the 4 series page with the new purchase.
I don’t know you managed that; you are really lucky. The best I’ve ever managed on a motorway run was 35mph in eco mode, in my 540i Touring. Sometimes I image I see the fuel gauge moving in real time.
You are so lucky I don’t work there; the temptation to swap it for another car under the cloth, to see the reaction on reveal would overcome me.
l thought something similar. the salesman pulls off the cloth to reveal a brand new M car and as your eyes light up he goes sorry that is not yours l revealed the wrong car sorry
Congrats! looks nice!!!! are dealers doing the reveal on all cars now? Never had that on any car I've purchased, I thought it was because they were used cars and not brand new.... Kev
so do and some don't depends on the dealer. never had a black cloth reveal but when l bought the 5GT the car was parked up in a hand over bay and you walk in the room and the salesman turns on all the lights to to highlight the car not really the same when you buy used and have been to see the car before and test driven it so the reveal works better on a factory fresh car that you have never seen the car in the flesh and hand over is the first time you have actually seen it
