This crew would have it as good as new and with the proper mechanicals, but at a price and a long time.
if this is the sort that you like then Cuba would be the place to go as it is full of 1950,s classic American cars with Russian engines and mechanical s underneath but kept looking nice on the outside
for me my first thought when looking at that car was it is a shitbox, i admire the guys ingenuity and enthusiasm for the car but sorry its not for me

Did I read some time back that there was an embargo preventing anyone importing a vehicle from Cuba - something to do with International sections??
Also, I think they're so expensive [or, indeed impossible] for the residents to replace that no-one wants to move their car on and be left with no alternative.
