2 series throttle hesitation

    I’ve got a problem with 5he wife’s 220d diesel. It’s 17 plate and it seems to have developed a stutter when you take your foot off the throttle to slow down and then when you press down to pull away it stutters! It’s not turbo lag as it seems to be stuck in treacle for a few seconds ! Any ideas on what it might be folks?

    EGR valve possibly. There is a recall underway. You might want to check with BMW.

    Isn't that for the EGR Cooler, not the valve?

    Incidentally, mine is in the dealer today to have the cooler replaced.
    I just hope that they don't cock anything up, as the 330d has been perfect so far.
