    Why? Are they legal?

Do they not register on speed camera/ANPR?

Seem to be more common on high end fast cars driven by certain types of boy racers up and down the A40 by the Polish War Memorial, so I assume they must do something with the cameras as it's 40mph average speed and they fly past me.

I will admit I'm not keen on the look of them.

Got them changed off the Boxster asap, mine were the 3D metal plates, but same look. Really don't like them. Not sure there is any camera avoiding "side affects" to them, not that I've heard/read at any rate.

All a bit of a fad. Believe they’re road legal but look dreadful.

    Nothing screams chav louder IMO.

    Except perhaps a mis-spaced plate!

    Kindest regards
    Carl.

I had a set of them the wife picked them.
They where on my last car but recently changed car and transferred my number over.
I now have a bog standard set apart from the Welch dragon on them and they look good to me.
Even better i got my m8 who owns a garage to order them save messing with proof of this and that and they only cost me £12 and that reminds me i still owe him £2 lol.
