Well , it s been a while so I d better do an update .

The car continues to please in every way , nothing has broken , sailed through it s last Mot with an advisory on the front tyres which have now been replaced with two Goodyear Eagle Runflat F3 s. I did have concerns about uneven wear on the front but got the front wheel alignment checked for free when the new tyres went on and was told they were spot on . The fact that the previous tyres were the same make but were different versions of it may have contributed to some uneven wear but all sorted now .These were the tyres that came with the car when bought .
Haven t read the Handbook in full yet ( only had the car two years now so give me time ) :whistling:. That said , I ve made a few discoveries all by myself :sneaky:. These are as follows ,

I have a Heated Steering Wheel .( Found the switch when cleaning ).
The Front Seat Bolsters move in and out . ( My 11 year old grandson discovered that )
I have the Through Loading System , ( Found the hatch when taking out the Wind Deflector )
The Whole back of the car lifts up plus the rear screen to facilitate ease of loading , (Found that switch on the rear boot panel 6 months ago ).
Any more Discoveries and I ll let you know .

The I Drive says the car is due a Service as of the 1st of this month . I believe this is just a Time Based Service and not a Mileage one as the car was serviced at Harry Fairbairn Inverness at 21946 miles on 12/06 2018
It had a Brake and Fluid Change at 28760 miles on 19/06 2019 and the cars mileage is now at a humungous 29756 miles so it s well below the mileage service interval . I believe this is just a small service or an Inspection as they call it .

Due to Covid Restrictions I m getting around 2 Months to the Gallon just now , am sure many people are the same and I find myself aching for a Road Trip , or a good blast , the furthest journey since Covid started being a round trip of 36 miles . Can honestly say I love this car , it really is everything I could ever need and more , except for an M4 or M8 of course .

Managed to give the car a good Decontaminate, Clay, Machine Polish , and a coat of the trusty Collinite 915 Marque De Elegance a month or so ago , sorry , forgot all about taking pics but it s looking good .

So, nothing new to report on it really , it s fine , I m ok , and I hope you all are ok too,

    Stay Safe
    Murray .

I have the heated steering wheel, it’s the most useless option on the car, used it once and couldn’t touch the bloody thing.

It’s great to find a few extra toys though, it all adds to the ownership experience.

    On or off only.

But just put it on for a couple of minutes to take the chill off rather than leaving it on??

Nice update. Sounds as though you are enjoying the car a lot. Laughed at the gallons per month quote, made me realise I could of had a v8 sat on the drive for the past 12 weeks rather than the diesel, wouldn’t have made any difference in my economy figures!
