Washed the E92 today and noticed that three of the alloys are showing early signs of corrosion around the centre caps. The only one that hasn’t is the near side rear.
Do these look like warranty items to you all? They were newly refurbished and shod with new tyres when I bought the car in late Sept 2018.

No idea. Assumed the car had been prepared by Sytners as wheels and tyres were as new.

I just thought if it had been done by anyone outwith the dealer network it could give them a reason to reject your claim.

You might have better luck then, but I suspect they'll say it's not bad enough to get them redone.......yet.

I imagine they might be bad enough to be down on the 1st October....just as the warranty has run out. Seems to have come in quickly. Wasn’t like that a few weeks ago.

When I tried to get mine done, they said when they take a pic of the wheel, they need to be able to see corrosion without zooming in. Hence only 1 of my wheels been changed. The others they have Agee’s to do when they are corroded enough but I’m not out of warranty so we will see if that holds up as they wouldn’t give me anything in writing.

Wheels still not corroded enough yet..

Had to take pictures and email the dealership. Then they asked me to leave the car for a day.
agreed to replace 1 of the 2 wheels affected. The new wheel from Germany arrived 2 months later.
all 4 have worming now, but I won't bother replacing and just refurb.
If yours have been refurbed, I would suggest you have very little chance of replacement.

I would say refurbed = straight no as not a warranty defect, I don’t know how you would stand AUC wise though as if they are still as they were when purchased. Failing that I wonder what warranty the company that carried out the refurb put on them.

I haven’t had the time to contact the dealer (Sytners) with work as it is. Will put this on the radar ASAP!
Don’t hold out much hope, but certainly worth a chat.
