That is nice, worthy of garage queen status, if it was closer I'd snap it up!

Looks in great condition. The 535i usually gets overlooked as is no faster than a 530i but drinks as much as a 540i

Not a fan of grey leather particularly with wood trim.

Black E39's on 18" style 37s are a great combination

Decent cars like this, only crop up every once in a while so they're 'never too far away'!!!

Hell; I've been from Preston to Aberdeen, London, Glasgow (twice), Portsmouth, Hastings and even Burnley to buy a car! ;)

If it's worth it; you travel! It only needs to be done once...

They have a std seat base in an E39 but the backrest is adjustable half way up and it will have lumber support. The electric rocker button on top of the seat base is for the top part of the backrest and the circular button is the lumbar support.

Comfort seats in later model 5's have even more adjustment with thy squab, and bolsters also electrically adjustable.

I'd go and have a look at it and have a bid, but most likely the seller has the reserve close to or at the buy it now price.

Many sellers tell you their reserve if you ask them.

I do agree with you, why not have the starting price such that it is in fact the reserve?
The answer is probably that lower starting prices attract more views.

Yeah, he may reveal the reserve price.

To me his choice of tyres tells you everything you need to know about how it's been maintained. Snap it up.

I reckon the reserve is £3k, it's not worth more than that.

Unless it has had a new or recent radiator and pipes plus new/recent suspension components it's already bid over I would pay for it.

Its a bloody nice looking car though. Imagine the lack of economy would be punishing, but the V8 would sound gooood.
