I got it when I first got my 2 series, made quite a few changes but havent really used it since. I found it best to use it in demo mode in the house to see what could be done before going 'live' and connecting to the car, just in case I messed something up. Its very useful, I havent come close to using it to its potential
a lot of changes you can make seem to require that you go into 'expert mode' too much chance in my mind to completely bugger things up unless you have a chart referencing what each code means does anyone have such?
If anyone has a Bimmercode set up in EastAnglia, my son would be interested to enable enhanced Bluetooth in his 1 series. He has a combox so it should work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Exactly why I did a few dry runs and made notes of what had to be done, I saw a mate brick a module on his Mini using Carly and didnt want to do the same.
Been using for a long time found it to be excellent with my Iphone although I connect via cable and ethernet to lightning adapter. I will not code over bluetooth or wifi as I feel it is just not stable enough. Remember to put your phone into airplane mode 1st. Stopped using Esys for coding now + bimmercode does auto backup and advanced. I also use bimmerlink for fault codes and DPF ash loading etc makes life some much easier without having to use a laptop
