    I'm excited for you!

It's not going to be boring for sure. But I do really think a lot of that excitement will come from the driving experience more than the spannering. I just headed back on a spirited drive (35miles) from the motorhome storage yard home this PM in the 911. Honestly, I don't think I've ever owned anything which has given me more smiles per mile.

Good luck with the shopping, I'd take it to be honest. The quid-pro-quo from my Missus when I bought the 911 was that she wanted an all inclusive ski holiday (the one just been). It was a very expensive trade-off to getting into a Porkie!:LOL:

Keep us posted on tomorrow please!

    Have a great collection day!
I’ll not bore you with my failed purchase, I’m still bitter, it was a 958.2

    A 968.2?
Edit: just checked and an 958 is a Cayenne. I didn’t know that! It’s like a new language so it is.

    Pray tell.

However if it was anything like my 958.2 GTS then you did well to swerve!

Right, off to the train station we go. Slightly apprehensive, more to do with starting an ownership experience with a new (to me) marque than the actual car itself.
Obviously I will be starting a new ownership thread later on today! See you on the other side.

I shall add, your thread / tribulations served well! Read and reread.

Found the perfect car, GTS in black, 2 previous owners, over spec’d and a supplying dealer service history, replaced transfer box, recent N rated tyres x4 & still under Warranty, supplied with a set of discs & pads! Albeit wheels were in need of a tidy up!
I stumbled and factored in axle and diff servicing to the price I was willing to pay so negotiated hard and was pipped!
That was back in early January, haven’t seen a car like it since, have since looked at AUC hybrids but reluctant!
    Something shall come along…. “Maybe”

Final year of the Audi & in need of a dog car…..
Who knows where the search shall take me, or hand shall be guided by the wife,
A garage queen is not out the question

Sounds like a lovely car (similar to mine in terms of virtually every option ticked). They are very rare in good specs. Good luck with the ongoing search.
