Maybe nice to get as many photos of early BMWs (or indeed of other plumage) as we can. Classics or just plain old...

    Past or present possessions.

I know we didn't have digital photos in the olden days but perhaps you can take a photo of a photo as I did here:

My 318i in 1988. Classic or just old?

I had 5 E21 s in 6 years wish I had kept them , E30s are now getting quite rare aswell ! I got offered a 98 S reg M3 3.2 volution 3 months ago but it had been layed up for 4 years so decided against it , although guy was a dealer still wanted 5k with no mot , service history , or warranty .

    CRAIGS CAR.JPG

An E36 325i Coupe, the one that started it all. I had just moved to RNAS Prestwick and bought this from Harry Fairburn in Glasgow. I loved that car!!

My 3rd BMW, E36 328i manual Touring in Montreal blue with black leather interior.

    P461BCX.jpg

Can't find a picture of my first BMW, an H reg E30 325i manual Touring in Zinnober Red (I think) and anthracite cloth interior, but it looked pretty much like this:

    BMW-325i-E30-Touring.jpg

I remember options included rear head rests and a Catalytic Converter (yes, it was a cost option!).

2nd was an L reg E36 325i Saloon in Boston Green, can't find a picture of that either, can't even find a picture of one like it on the net, it had style 17 wheels which were a bitch to clean!

I had a 328i touring also, 1996 N reg with sport pack. One of the best cars I've ever owned.

E30's are definitely classics and E36's are becoming that way too especially 328i manual Sports or factory Mtecs.

E36 M3's have jumped about 20% (upwards) in the last 12 months.
