    images.jpeg.jpg Hi guys

I'm looking to place an order for an F90 M5 for a March/April delivery. I've gone over my options and have been given a test drive car for 3 days before I confirm.

I specifically requested a snapper rocks blue coloured vehicle as this is the colour I would want to order. (snapper rocks blue exterior, with smoke white/black merino upholstry, and piano black interior trim).

On first thoughts, it seems this colour is different from what I imagined. It looks more turquoise-green than the blue I saw in the pictures.

Can someone clarify that the snapper blue colour is this turquoisey colour?

FYI, I was expecting the colour same as the one on the M5 in the image attached. What I've got is not like that.

    Thanks

    J

If you find the VIN, you can look the VIN number up to check the spec, colour etc.

I forgot the link to the normal one but just found this, might be worth a go.. https://vindecoder.eu/bmw

There is a guy over on the Uk part of Bimmerpost who has one in that colour, with black wheels. Should be a fair view pics on there. But yes, snapper rocks is greeny blue depending on the light...

It was a serious suggestion. Are you trying to suggest I have bad taste? :ROFLMAO:

Anyway I think Rallye Green on an M5 would turn heads. I like to be different. :whistling:

Heaven forfend! Not for a moment

Bet they won't sell many to the Republic of Ireland, they'd be practically invisible - 40 shades of green and all that. :D

Having Monte Carlo Blue on my M5 you would think I would go Snapper Blue but it really is quite vibrant and not subtle which is what the M5 is all about. I love the fact my car gets sod all attention, it just looks like a 520d and blends in until you use the right pedal to educate lol. Snapper Blue really is vibrant and is almost like the old E46 colour Atlantis Blue and does have that slight greenish hue to it. Marina Bay all day long for me, very much like the old Le Mans, lovely.

Now almost £30k deposit contribution on a new F90 M5... possibly overpriced in the first place

Over priced...certainly but Its not just the Mt.
I was browsing yesterday, 540 x drive touring listed at 55k, and dealers advertising it as now having an 11k contribution available, so 44k.
This on a car that's not been on the market 2 years.
    Over priced ?
Over supply to market place ?
Cheaper to keep production lines running than stopping them ?
Certainly I'm seeing fewer new large BMWs on the road than previously

I appreciate that it's a global market but it's a pity they insist on making each new model larger than it's predecessor, possibly having a negative effect on sales?
