Just a quick explanation about featured threads and articles, the website has the ability to promote threads to the front page, just to make it a bit more interesting, like a thread of the week for example. Anyway, at the moment it's done manually but I might be able to set a post threshold before it's automatically promoted but either way as long as the thread is interesting enough and has some pictures it's likely to end up there.
