Hi all, I'm happy that my G31 5 series tourer came with comfort seats, as I have a bad back, so I appreciate the memory and adjustments I can make. The manual says I can adjust flaps on the headrest, but I am unsure if I need to manually pull these out, and am worried about forcing anything. Does anyone know how to adjust the headrest flaps on a G31 5 Series? I added the screenshot of the manual as an attachment, and hope it’s viewable.
Thanks very much; I’ll try and feedback. I would have never specified these seats before now owning. As I said, I can’t do without them now, given my back condition. The funny thing is, they are the most comfortable seats I own, including the ones in the house. I’m sure my wife on occasions wishes I moved out into the car; so just as well. Many thanks again!!
Here is a picture of the headrest flap pulled out. I was surprised how little mention there is of this on the web. Hopefully someone in the BMW family with a similar question will find this post.
I found so much adjustment on my comfort seats that I spent ages adjusting them... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think adjusting the seat correctly will give a lot of comfort, and reduce pain. I’m still tinkering to find the best position. I have a condition where my spine is slowly fusing, so very mindful of sitting position. I found this Jaguar link useful I also found this today https://www.physiomed.co.uk/uploads/guide/file/21/Physiomed_Sitting_Guide_-_Driving_Digital.pdf
