    Hi , I’m new to the forum, just purchased 2019 BMW X1 Sdrive2.0iSE 1998cc.
Drove it home, lovely car but now discovered that it does not have retractable mirrors.....I assumed on a viortually new car they were standard....help....can they be fitted retrospectively and if so where and how much approx.
    Any advice very much appreciated.

Hi Sue, welcome to the forums, if you have Facebook look up Jay BMW Retrofits UK, i have never used them, but i am considering having the full black panel dash installed by them, they seem to have good reviews and can pretty much retrofit most things, to most BMW's. Just drop them a message with what you are after and they will say yes or no and what the cost will be.

    Hope that helps

Are you 100 % sure it doesnt have folding mirrors ?

On my 5 series the fold on pressing the remote BUT on my wifes X1 you need to press and hold the remote control for a couple of seconds before the mirros fold automatically
