MotorHouse UK have just sold my car (BMW X1 2010) I had committed to buying Thursday of last week, to a walk-in over the weekend, I placed my deposit of £500 via my credit card and they had agreed to the AA carrying out an mechanical survey on the car on my behalf.

They even spoke on Friday with the AA directly and agreed to them coming in Tuesday, today, to do the survey for me.

This company, no sharlitons, are unprofessional and with no principles should be remove from anybody’s customer base as they have proven to be unworthy of the respect of the public, you should take steps to protect yourself and others from experiencing the same outcome I’ve had, I can only show my total disgust for them.

I know no doubt you’ve heard this one before, I’ve been driving cars for 40 plus years, the last 12 years BMW’s so please excuse me repeating myself - don’t have anything to do with MotorHouse (Derby) in fact the whole of MotorHouse UK!

You have my sympathies - not got a lot of time for most Car Dealers, sometimes their behaviour makes your blood boil, I don't understand how they can do things like this and keep in business......shocking.

Having now calmed down a little my thoughts have not changed in anyway.., I’m 65 years old and have dealt with these types before and still they come, do they not go to night school or something as they all think the same!

They still try to pull the wool etc..,

But today we have the internet, forums, YouTube, Twitter etc which having grown up with the advent of the computer I have no problem with given these so called sales persons, who think they can pull the wool, their comeuppance

Once on the Internet, always on the Internet!

Enjoy my attempt at poking the fun!

I rung them to enquire about their car Wednesday, received from them availability of their car, received video and pictures of car Thursday, I gave them £500 deposit at their request then I had questions regarding cost of delivery and AA vehicle inspection arranged confirmed by them for the following Tuesday - Friday delivery cost was agreed plus a few other package details and costs were confirmed ie warranty, mot but still waiting for official receipt for deposit!
I had emailed, texted and spoke to them constantly through to end of play Friday nothing more needed to happen until the Tuesday inspection - nothing from them over the weekend - midday Monday emailed to just touch base no reply, texted no reply then Tuesday 9:30am I received an email from AA Inspection team to inform me that the car had been sold so rung them immediately and got bullshit which just got worse! Thus the video, forums, Twitter, YouTube, etc enough?

Whilst I'm sympathetic to your predicament I'm not sure that joining this site merely to name and shame is good form. I set up this site for BMW enthusiasts not for unhappy customers to vent their spleen. The fact that a BMW was involved is neither here nor there.
