havent updated this for a while, as Ive either been busy with work or busy driving the car. I'm involved with an advanced driving group and have had it out on a few runs, safe to say I am enjoying it more than the Cayman I had before, and while I am still getting used to it I am feeling a lot more confident with it. Still wondering about winter tyres for it though
However, the reason for todays update is that Ive just had cruise control retrofitted. This was the only thing on my wishlist that wasnt on it when I bought it, and I found a local guy (Craig at BR Diagnostics and Retrofits) who is very well regarded on a number of forums (I think his username is Wibbles) who did a very good job at a very reasonable price. Just in time for a couple of longer runs next week (y)

Had the chance of a little bit of night photography, but unfortunately the plan didnt work out. Rather than waste the trip, I decided to mess about with the car

Thanks. The original plan was to have a clear sky and the milky way rising up from the hills behind the lake, then do it with the car in shot, but it didnt happen. Im hapy with the result though

As a change from this. Yes, it's a Porsche, the 2019 Speedster and I'd have one if I won the Lottery [tricky, as I so seldom buy a ticket :D] and only as a 'really nice day' toy and because it's shininess appeals to the magpie in me...

No, it's just a pretty picture. If you cut one of my limbs off, I think you might find BMW running down through it like in a stick of rock.

Besides, I'll never afford one now. :driving:

So, almost a year of ownership as signalled by the need for an MOT test. Unsurprisingly it sailed through, I'd have been annoyed if it didnt given it had its end of warranty check two weeks ago.
Its been a lot of fun, and continues to be, but I'm still not finished getting it the way I want it. I'm hopefully keeping it for another three years so I'm having a heated steering wheel fitted then will be looking at some subtle upgrades to the sounds, starting with a Rockford Fosgate DRS1 processor then it will be in for its annual coatings topup.

Yes, a quick/light machine polish to get rid of the old stuff and bring back the shine, then a couple of layers of EXO v4
