Is the cat trained to deter thieves? Makes sense now ;-)

I love the look of the 2 series coupe - don't see many xdrive models about.

I like the sunset orange colour - better than the ubiquitous white and black.

Preston obviously likes it too. Our cat won't go in the car. She knows that it means a visit to either the vet or the cattery, so stays well clear.

love that colour, exactly what I would choose. Love the cat also, I have three - British Blue, ginger British Shorthair and a tabby moggy. My ginger weighs nearly 8kg which wouldn't be good on the armrest.

I thought it was just me that did that. My best/worst was when I was in visiting a mate in Cheshire, we told the wives we were popping out for a quick drive so I could test his car and get the sunday papers. We ended up in Wales
I mustard mitt that its a very surprising and capable car, and the 220D has enough 'go' to keep me entertained. Black on black wouldn't be my first choice (but then again neither was the orange) due to my OCD, but there are a few on the m235 group and they do look smart

The only way he'd be even remotely interested in who got in the car is if they had dreamies :D
This was the only orange xdrive on autotrader in the entire country when we found it.

Thanks. You should get some photos up in the general chat thread (y)
I thought Preston was big at 6.4kg, yours must be like a small bear

People here aren't keen on cats, but here's a little spoiler:

Well the first proper drive was done last week, a few days touring Yorkshire then a blast across to Hull for a party and home to Tyneside on Sunday. Initial impressions that it was comfy, frugal and fun have been confirmed. 550 miles covered, some dawdling, some motorway, some country roads and some 'quick' country roads still saw more than 50mpg, but when I shoved it into sport mode and went for a few overtakes and spirited runs on roads I knew it was surprisingly quick and felt very planted. Mrs Moggy has declared herself very happy, and a happy wife equals a happy life (y)

Cor. That's a wicked little thing. Congratulations.

And you've had it Gtech'd. Very wise. I hear they are working on a cat repellent, so your front armrest problem might get sorted soon.

Thanks Harry. If I didnt have my m235i it might be a fight for the keys with Mrs M.
I think the problem might be sorted, Mrs M has put a citrus based air freshener in it and he doesn't seem so keen any more

Yeah. That will put 'em right off.

Again, that really is a tasty little car. Must be a lot of fun.

    Someone mention me? :)
I have been around, I updated my subs etc. I used to log in on my lunch break from work every day, but since working from home in lockdown I havent been online very much, and the email alert for this went into the junk :(
I must make more of an effort to pop in, looks like I have loads of catching up to do

Thanks. Still looking as good, now with PPF protecting the front end
