Car is being delivered next Saturday. Going to get bmw service plan at teeside bmw. Insurance is £190 through Esure. So all looking good. noticed online that there was a recall for 4series not sure what the recall was. Any body got any advice. I was just going to ring bmw up and find out what was what tbh.

Got car yesterday love it.
Tried connecting Spotify to the car but can't seem to? The phone connects fine but the little music icon dosnt appear next to the phone icon any ideas or do i just have to use the aux via a lead ?
Any help appreciated

 

Hi Ozzy, not sure I understand what you mean I don't see any icons, I pair my phone with the car then chose the phone in: Multi Media - External Devices and the screen displays whatever my phone is playing, I usually just use a playlist on random and let it go. Can't recall if the iDrive controller can control the phone, I mostly use the music library to be honest. This is using Google music play (You tube music as it is now) with Pro Nav, it may be different from the standard Nav. I have never needed to use an aux lead. Glad you like the car.

Going to have a play round with stuff over the weekend see if o can sus out the spotify thing and few other little bits.
Found out today also that if u hold the bmw button on the key fob for bout 5secs your wing mirrors fold I know its not world shattering but it made me smile.
Every days an adventure atm with the 4series.

 

Quick question guys the tyres on my car are
225x40xorf19 (front)
255x35xaf19 (rear)
What should the correct psi pressure be in these?

There should be a sticker on the door frame that shows the required pressures.
Is there a handbook?

 

Yeah just checked the drivers door panel pressures are there. Spot on cheers for that.

Question guys.... I've tried downloading some music cds to the cars hard drive. Some reason it didn't do it. Has my car not got a hard drive to store cds or am i doing something wrong.
