Pristine Alloys / Fred the Tread - Gone!

Just before I get rid of the 745 I decided to have the wheels refurbished as it's 10 years since they were last done. For as long as I can remember I've been going to Pristine Alloys in Milton Keynes, it's a 6 hour round trip but I never heard of anywhere else that could match them. However, when I tried to call them this morning I discovered to my horror that they've ceased trading! From what I've read online it seems that they simply closed down rather than go under.

So that's left me looking for an alternative. A local company was recommended to me but recent reviews are not at all good, (shoddy workmanship, abusive manager etc) so it's a worry.

Can anyone recommend another reputable company? I'm not necessarily concerned about the location as I intend to use a courier service if provided, which Pristine did but I never got around to using it.

Thanks for any advice offered.

 

JP Alloys in Cannock (often seen on car SOS) are pretty well regarded.

 

No where near you I'm afraid but have used Reinventing The Wheel in Tewkesbury for many years on numerous cars.
Excellent service friendly staff cannot fault them.

Update - With Lepsons as a back up, a local company in Gainsborough was recommended to me and I saw good reviews about them so took my wheels to them a few days ago. Looks a good set up and they were surprised that, being BMW alloys, they were totally straight with no cracks or deformity! They're 2003 alloys and were last refurbished by Pristine in 2011.
