Mine is coded to 'Remember previous setting', so it is normally deactivated. But if you select ECO PRO driving mode, the stop/start function becomes active again and you have to switch it off at the stop/start button on the dash. I don't think that it's possible to change that with coding.
Yes that is the "memory" coding you can also code it to permanently off but either way if you select eco it will come back on
