Further to my last post about the wife’s 220d losing power or stuttering at times, do I have to go back to the same dealership I purchased it from 4 months ago or can I go to my local main dealership under the used car warranty?
I have heard negative reports from disgruntled owners about the level of repairs and fixes from the dealership I purchased the car from but the local dealership I use is fantastic on all counts, unfortunately they didn’t have a 2 series when I wanted one!,

    Cheers Lamps

you can go to any dealership for an approved used warranty repair

give your local dealer a call and speak to service department and explain the situation. they will tell you that you have to pay a diagnosis charge but if a fault is found that is covered by warranty then you will not have to pay the diagnosis charge

l guess this is to cover any labour costs if no fault is found
