Admittedly only a concept so those grilles are probably just to get people talking... and posting on forums for free advertising!

Those grilles are nowhere near large enough...

That one was doing the rounds a few months ago, still appropriate though.

It's a 'concept', much of which'll never make it into production

What's the betting on the grille though John? China is a large market for BMW and they love humongous grilles over there!

Erm - never mind the grilles, it looks like the old model had an affair with an Audi A5 and it’s the mongrel offspring

Brave or foolish move to these grilles... time will tell.

BMW get slated if they follow evolution, rather than revolution designs. When they do something more radical, they get bashed from the other side. They can never win. Concepts are always over the top, but I understand the longer grille is definitely coming to the 4-series.

I was unfortunate enough to have a front on view of a brand new 7 Series on the drive to Swindon this morning. Every time I close my eyes I still see it.....

I saw the 7 series the other day, and it made me break out in a cold sweat. :yikes:
It's the only one that I've ever seen - I wonder why.

Only pictures, look totally wrong to me.

I saw a G20 in white, on the road at the weekend, with black grilles, does nothing to enhance the car, IMO. More a "look at my huge grilles, I can make them stand out even more than necessary".

Black grills - maybe on dark colours or black cars . . . . but on light colours or white? NEVER! :nono:
Especially those 'Barn Door' monstrosities. :redcard:

I think someone as BMW design HQ is doing it for a bet. Or a dare. Can’t be any other reasons why....

l can think of 1,433,783,686 reasons why and it is called china. 44 percent of 7 series sell to china and we all know the Chinese have strange tastes in grills
