    American and Chinese markets will definitely be having a strong influence on current designs. UK is not really into big cars anyway. Many users see the current 5 and 6-series as far too big, let alone anything bigger.

    I find my 3 series F30 is a perfect fit on the narrow Cheshire country lanes. I wouldn't want anything bigger than a 5 series.
    But of course on main 'A' roads and motorways, it doesn't really matter.

    I can't find any mention my end that the 840d is a V6 o_O

    No i assumed he'd got that wrong. Can't imagine that BMW are going to suddenly start producing V6's after all these years building inline 6's

    I remember I went to buy one of those, during test drive, seller put £10 of fuel in, it drank it on <20 mile test drive, my eyes watered and I walked away with some cock and bull story.
    Opportunity missed to own an iconic car! Though I’m sure it was the 850i

    The new one looks quite the party piece!
