My step daughter has a cockerpoo (stupid name!) and that is supposed to be “hypoallergenic”. Still seems myself inside out if I’ve not taken a tablet before going round there. Maybe an outside dog is a good idea, however, I’m sure neighbours wouldn’t be too pleased with that idea.
Any dog can be nasty, any dog can be soft. Just depends how you treat them. (Much like people). I've been bitten more times by terriers that Rottweiler's, German shepherds or Dobermann combined. One tea cup chihuahua, sodding thing drew blood.
I had a visit many years ago but they literally kicked the front door in. They took the keys for the van when the keys for my old Subaru were in fact in the door !! Both stes too as the fob had died and I put the other one on them. My dogs chased them away. they stopped up the road and threw the keys out which was lucky. when the police turned up they had another call that they had done the same to another house 10mins away with in 20mins of visiting us. besides ghost to protect the car A dog will always warn you before you know you have visitors.
