This site seems to be pretty comprehensive and easy to find what you need quickly: http://www.puretyre.co.uk/bmw-tyre-pressures/ But this one, thanks to @TrillyUK appears to cover all the variant sizes for staggered set up etc. https://www.wheel-size.com/ Just remember to select the European market option.
Here's an alternative tyre pressure site - it's just been revised and updated to be more user-friendly: http://www.tyresafe.org/check-your-pressures/car-pressure-checker/
Maybe it's just their mobile site but it doesn't seem to let you say what wheels you have. It told me an E92 335d needs 2.0 bar front, 2.2 rear. Whereas it's something like 2.6 front and 2.8 rear on 19's.
Same with my f25. BTW, how do manufacturers arrive at tyre pressures. Do test drivers try out all the sizes with different pressures, and decide which in their opinion is the best, or is there a more objective way, something like contact pressure on the road?
The pressures they quoted for mine were spot-on. Obviously we need to be careful. The definitive pressures are of course the ones on the plate/sticker on the driver's door post.
Interesting - on the mobile site at least, I entered my car details and it went straight to the pressures (which were on the low side). I would've thought I would have had to choose wheel and tyre size as well but wasn't asked to...
The first site, the one that does let you choose the tyre size, doesn't actually have the rears that are on my car: 255/40/17, which is standard for staggered style 66s.
My F30 19 inch tyres don't appear on either of those sites, so I would be more inclined to get the info from TIS and the plate on the driver's door pillar.
I always head off to Wheel-Size.com, as caters for optional wheels and Alpinas to. Also has offsets for wheels which if buying another set of wheels is important to know. Also has an app for iPhone which is a bit prettier than the website.
Interest, i've just looked mine up out of interest on the site @TrillyUK posted and it shows:- 225/40ZR19 89Y 255/35ZR19 92Y However, my tyres are:- 225/40/R19 89Y 255/35/R19 92Y No Z in them, anyone know what the Z means? Thanks Kev
ZR is an old speed rating that is no longer used, Z was the letter used for a tyre rated for speeds over 150mph. and the R was for radial construction 225/40 ZR19 89Y. so 225 (tyre section width) 40 (tyre profile) Z speeds over 150mph R (radial construction) 89 (load rating) Y (speed rating 189 mph) so the first example you posted has two speed ratings which is confusing. your tyre has one rating (Y) and is rated for speeds up 189 mph
