does the tyre pressure information label only show tyres that will fit the car that the label is affixed to or does it show all tyres for the vehicle type

the reason for asking is that the label on the 6GT shows pressures for 17 inch winter tyres. the car has 20 inch staggered summers with the M Sport callipers so l very much doubt that a 17 inch wheel would fit over the callipers

l was looking to see if the 5gt winter wheels would fit the 6gt and l think they might be ok as 245/45/19 is shown as a winter tyre size on the label

17" wheels are still listed for the G32 6GT.

Note the 6GT is a "G" model. Wheel bolt PCD and hub sizes changed, are different than the "F" models. Double check if you are wanting to fit existing wheels.

do you know of a website that gives full specification for BMW alloys as the BMW website just says "8.5J x 19 with tyre size 245/45 R19 102V check with dealer if they will fit

the alloys that have are PCD 5X120 do you what the PCD is on the G32 not sure what my hub size is and the websites that have bookmarked don't list this information

Many users have been caught out with wheel upgrades and winter sets, when moving from F to G models.

It shows wheels suitable for the car but doesn’t seem to take m sport brakes into account. My 4 series lists a 17 but the smallest wheel it can take is an 18 because of the m sport brakes

The 17" is listed for the 640i which has the standard 348mm discs. Can't see any exclusion on RealOEM, But 374mm discs do add some dimension around the calipers.
My F11 has 348mm discs and you'd think the 17" wouldn't fit. But they do with minimum clearance. There is some clever shaping to the caliper and rim form.

l guess my new car will be the same it its on staggered 20's with summer tyres and l was under the impression that 18 was the minimum wheel size to clear the M Sport brakes so l guess the tyre pressure label on the car covers the model range but its not model specific

I’ve seen a few G20/30 wheels for sale that state “Don’t fit F series so don’t ask....”
