That is odd because then, and now, I can only find Rainsport 2 in the rear size and Rainsport 5 in the front.

Well for what it is worth I have ordered a set of Hankook Ventus S1 Evo2. They have a good reputation and were reasonably priced.
I guess I need to look at some sort of wheel covers perhaps.

For storing my Winter alloys/tyres outside, I got a company which does tarpaulins to make me a custom cover to slip over the stacked wheels - cost me £70 iirc.

Slip it over the 'stack' and sling a bungee cord round at the bottom, job's a good 'un. :thumleft:

True, but I have a spare set of alloys, so they're off the car late Autumn > Spring. :whistling: :D

There were supply problems with the Hankooks so I ended up getting a set of Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres. In the end, I was not able to get exactly matching fronts and rears, but the guy at the tyre place assured me that even though they have a different tread pattern they were basically the same tyre and would be absolutely fine together.

If anyone is interested, the rears are Dunlop SP Sport Maxx and the fronts are Dunlop Sport Maxx RT 2. I notice that the rears have a 'V' pattern which you don't see much anymore, it seems to have gone out of fashion.

First impressions are positive, but I can't give my full judgement yet as I have only done a few miles in them and didn't quite get up to motorway speeds.
