You may not like this or approve, but you have to admire the man. I got this link on another forum, have a read as see what you think...... http://www.speedhunters.com/2020/08/converted-the-tesla-powered-bmw-8-series/
Some people get bored lying around after work and need something to keep them mentally and physically challenged and need an escape. I suppose this is his way of doing that. Great project and would have had an enormous sense of accomplishment. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think that is a stonking conversion. Taking the power of the future (now?) and replacing the ICE units can be done well, this seems to be such an example.
I've been watching the Vintage Voltage series on Quest. They've completed some interesting electric conversions on there. Can catch up on dplay https://www.dplay.co.uk/show/vintage-voltage
Aye, so have I. Some of their detailed work is actually pretty shoddy if you get a chance to look closely, welds not finished properly, H & S rules not in place, PPE not always as it should be etc. That said, it is a scripted programme working to and against time and a budget so it's to be expected I suppose. It makes interesting viewing just the same. Certainly beats loads of other 'reality TV' type shows.
