X5 head unit

    Hi there,just bought a 2003 x5,having problems with the radio.there is sat nav in the boot but no cd in the nav drive,it's not showing up on the screen as having sat nav.does this mean it's not connected to the head unit,also I can't seem to get any tv channels either,sorry about this might be something simple or maybe I am just thick lol,some help please !

    TV problem might be that the tuner is analogue and now everything has switched over to digital TV.

    Either your DVD drive needs replacing or the BM54 unit is at fault regarding the Nav.
