Hi looking for some advice please. I have a 2012 3 series the bottom side sills have very small rust spots when I purchased the car now washing the car today i notice on the side door panels now have various tiny rust spots can the rust spots spread ? Looks like they are getting worse since purchasing the car around 9 months ago. When I first bought the car the front bumper paintwork was flaking off you could tell there had been a re spray at the front end bumper so I took the car back to garage they sent the car away to get the front end fully re sprayed. Now noticed today the front end also has a few tiny looking rust spots? The front end bumper is plastic ? I'm I right ,? Anyone any advice where these tiny rust spots are coming from at the front end ?
Quote from webiste 'Airborne chemical compounds and ferrous particles - particles containing iron - actually penetrate the paint and create corrosive compounds that eat deep into the paint's sub-layers or paint’s pin-holes' I've used this in the past to remove the rusted metal particles and it works fine: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Auto-Finesse-Iron-iron-remover/dp/B005JJVVVO https://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/carpro-iron-x
