Anyone else got there rear parcel shelf vibrate under low rev ? Mine is bugging the hell out of me it vibrates all the time under low rev. I have a 2012xcoupe is this a common fault ? Seems like os coming from the plastic vent ?

I think we’ve got pretty much the same car, E92 coupe?
I have to say mine is the quietest car I’ve had for years in the squeak/rattle stakes.
Have you checked the rear seats are properly latched in? Worth dropping the seats and then shutting firmly.
Other than that I’d be checking for clips/interior trim etc that may have dropped out in the boot.

Hi yeah Same car mate I have tried dropping the seats and then clicking back into position no joy. Checked everywhere to see if I can see anything and nothing. I googled it and this can be a common fault according to some owners. So I tried putting pressure onto the rear vent to see if it had came loose after I did this the vibrate noise went away for about a week but now has came back its driving me nuts.

I had my F30 serviced a year ago and when I picked it up, there was an annoying rattle from the rear parcel shelf area. I immediately turned round and went back to the dealer. They had a technician sit in the rear seat while I drove. It turned out to be the LED brake light had come loose inside the housing at the top of the rear windscreen. They took it back into the workshop and glued the LED back into place. It solved the issue and I wasn't charged. Not sure whether that helps with your E92, but good luck. (y)

Think i found where the vibrating noise coming from i had a dash cam front & rear fitted few months ago the rear dash cam cable comes through where the rear brake light is. Pushed in the plastic cover seems to have fixed it only vibrates sometimes now need to figure out how to fix permanent.
